Holly Steele recently graduated from the Technical Communication Diploma program with honours. On graduation, she was awarded the gold medal. Before entering the program, she graduated from York University with a Masters degree in philosophy. Holly spent her summer co-op position creating software documentation. During the 2007 term, she worked part-time, writing standards for Motor Coach Industries. She has received the Society for Technical Communication award, Training for Tomorrow scholarship in addition to winning the IEEE letter writing competition for two years in a row.
Holly currently owns and operates a small business called Train Write Solutions that offers technical communication services, training, and consulting. In her spare time she enjoys being involved in her community, singing with Spirit's Call choir, and playing piano.
